So I thought I’d tell you all a bit about myself.  I’m new to the blogging world.  I just barely started this blog about four months ago.  I’m really not techie and I’m still navigating my way through but I am having fun.  Just after four months I have developed a serious appreciation for the bloggers who have been around FOREVER.  This shit takes a lot of work and time!  OMG does it ever!  It’s a definite labor of love.

Anyway I thought I would do a post about 10 Things About Me you should know.  I’m going to try to do this whenever I feel like it. LOL!  It could be 10 Things or one thing.

10 Things About Me:
  • I’m Asian American but I seriously think I was Irish in my previous life. I like to wear a Kiss Me I’m Irish shirt during St. Paddy’s day and say luck of the Irish in an Irish accent (well my version of an Irish accent). LOL!
  • I won’t lie!  I love my sexing in a book.  The dirtier and raunchier the more I love.  I am especially fond of the butt thrusting descriptions. (This will be discussed in further details one day).
  • I love N’Sync.  I keep hoping they’ll have a reunion tour cause I would so be all over that.
  • I’m a cover whore aka visually appealing junkie.  It’s easy to get me to buy your book if I’ve never read you before as long as you have nice eye candy on the cover.
  • I read the ending of the books first!  Yea I do and I’m ok with that.
  • I love to read story lines where the heroes and heroines are childhood friends and they become lovers.  I usually like it when the girl has the crush and the guy is too stupid to realize what he has in front of him.
  • I always wanted to be in a wet T-Shirt contest on those MTV Spring break specials when I was in high school.  Not sure why but I did.  No worries I have no aspirations to be in a wet T-Shirt contest anymore.
  • I can turn anything being said by someone into something dirty in my head. So if you see me with a smirk sometime on my face it’s because I’m giggling at my own dirty joke.
  • My husband thought I had strep throat for 6 months when we first started dating.  He finally realized that I naturally sounded sick..lol
  • My top three places to one day visit are Ireland, Scotland and Canada.

So those are my 10 Things About Me!  Are you scared now..lol.  Feel free to share some stuff about yourself with me.

Hi Rowena – waving at you! I love your blog. I’ve been a fan of the Book Binge for a long time now. I’m so excited to see you here!

Yea another NSYNC fan. I love them. It’s tearing up my heart when I’m with you…lol.

Cute covers and sexy men…I’ll stop and take a look for sure.

And OMG don’t get me started on how many times a day someone asks me if I’m sick. I just go ahead and say I’m sick now. It’s so much easier..lol.

Wow awesome about hanging out with Snoop Dogg and Donald Faison. How freaking cool.

And Andy dying…OMG I cried. I was really hoping he would get better and come back in season 3. He was beautiful. He portrayed Spartacus so wonderfully. He spoke with his eyes. Just a beautiful man.

We’ll need to chat sometime. 🙂

  2. OMG, I just found your blog and it saddens me that you’ve been around for over a year and I’m just now finding you.

I kept gasping while I was reading this post because we like a lot of the same things.

I am such a huge NSYNC fan and like you, I keep hoping they’ll get back together again.

I’m also a huge cover snob. The quickest way to get me interested in a book is to have a cute cover. I’m a sucker for buying books by how cute the covers are.

I also get the, “Do you have a cold?” a lot from people and I have to tell them, “Nope, that’s just how I normally sound.” It’s funny.

Once when I was in high school, MTV came to my area and I hung out at the MTV beach house with Donald Faison and his crew and Snoop Dogg too, I wasn’t in a wet t-shirt contest but I did get wet when I was there. =)

Dirty minds, yeah I got one of those too. =)

Were you as sad as I was when the old Spartacus died? My work best friend had to console me all day because he knew how much I was hoping he would come back and reprise his role. Man, that still gets me right in the chest area.

I’m a new follower of your blog and I’m so going to pimp your blog on my blog, Book Binge, I have to share your blog with others.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go and stalk your blog now. =)

    Happy reading!

@Theresa – waving “hey girl”. Thanks for stopping by. You’ll have to tell me what we have in common. Is it the wet t-shirt thing! 🙂

@BLHmistress – see I knew I liked you for a reason! 🙂 Isn’t it just fan to be bad and read the end first..lol?

@Barbara – That is great advice. I’m trying not to burn myself out but I can so totally see how longtime bloggers can do that.

Yep hubby thought I had strep for the longest time. I get ask at least once day by strangers “oohhh are you sick?” It got to the point that I just say yea..now! Lucky you. You’ll have to let me know if you guys get to stop off at Scotland. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Doesn’t surprise me that you are a visually appealing person too. I just love how you do all those cool things to your blog. So talented!

@Gabrielle – you are too sweet! The blogging community is awesome. I’ve had nothing but great experience so far and have met some great ladies. Congrats on the book deal BTW!

@Stella – thank you! JennJ did my header. She is freaking awesome! I did alot of blog stalking and took a bit from the places I loved and incorporated here.

I’ve heard a lot about First Love Cookie Club. That’s on my wishlist too. I will have to bug you about some advice on Scotland and Ireland when I start making plans. So jealous that you got to go! 🙂

@Blodeuedd – see we are Irish sistah’s in another lifetime..lol! Those freaking eye candies they get me everytime. I have to buy them just for the cover! I’m way too easy!

@Queentutt’s – Awesome! Thanks for the award. This is so cool. I really appreciate it!

  4. Lol, I was totally Irish in my last life too..or Scottish..or Welsh 😉

And covers, oh man, I LOVE them, I really should stop buying books based on covers

  5. Great feature, I enjoyed getting to know you better 🙂

And oh boy, noone would guess blogging requires so much time, organization and time management until one does start blogging 🙂 But wow! You’ve only been blogging for 4 months? I’ve never would have thought! Both your blog layout and features look really professional, so it’s amazing you do it in such a pro way after only such a short time, bravo!

I love childhood friends turned lovers storylines too! (you should check out First Love Cookie Club by Lori Wilde it is such a sweet love story of that kind (ps. Lori will stop by my blog later today and will have a giveaway for copies of FLCC, you should stop by and enter: http://www.stella-exlibris.com))

I’ve been both to Ireland and Scotland and wow, I lack the words. Both are incredibly amazing and breathtakingly beautiful, until I went to Scotland last summer I thought Ireland was fairy land on Earth, but then I saw the Scottish lochs (lakes) and all those castles and my heart fell in love. I definitely want to see Canada too one day, it looks so beautiful too. But you should definitely go and visit Scotland, and book a room in a castle hostel 🙂

  6. Great post! I agree, blogging is a lot of work 😉 But, you do what you can when you can. Take it from me, and don’t burn yourself out.

LOL, so your hubby thought you had strep throat?

I’m with you, I’d love to visit Scotland and hopefully will this year. I’m actually 1/2 Scottish but have never been there. The hubby and I are planning a trip to England, so I’m hoping to visit Scotland, too!

I’m a perfectionist. Which at times sucks. I’m also with you on the visually appealing things. I think it’s in my nature, though. Pretty much everything I do revolves around making things look pretty. I’m a Cosmetologist so I do hair and makeup and I also am a Photoshop and scrap booking addict. It makes my teeth hurt when I finish cutting, coloring and styling a client’s hair and I see them run their fingers through it, lol.

I’ll work an image on Photoshop for hours if I have to, to get get it the way I want. Oh and I buy books for the cover art, lol.

Okay, I’ve rambled enough about me. I really enjoyed your post! I should try one myself <—-as if I didn’t tell you half my life story with the above, lol.

  7. LOL we could get soul sisters, I read the ending too , I try not too but I just can’t help it , I am a cover whore too, if it has a hot cover on it I’m a buying it lol and three I have a gutterish mind too as well love the smex 🙂
